Poorthi
Coming soon to Chrome

Type once. Fill always.

Poorthi is a free Chrome extension that fills job application forms with details saved on your device.

Coming soon to Chrome

Type what a form asks you.

This runs in your browser with a sample profile for Asha Rao. Nothing you type here leaves this page.

Fills it

8.5

Saved as ₹8,50,000 a year. The label says lakhs, so it writes lakhs.

First, save your details once.

Name, phone, notice period, CTC, resume. It stays in your browser.

Then open any job form.

On supported sites a small Fill this form button appears. Nothing happens until you click.

Click once. Watch it land.

Every filled field is outlined so you can see exactly what changed.

Last, check what it left.

It tells you what it filled and what needs you. Then you press Submit, not it.

Careful with what matters.

It stays on your device

No account, no server and no AI. Your details sit in your own browser, and the extension makes no network calls.

Sent to servers

Nothing

It never guesses

When a label is unclear, the field stays empty and goes on a list for you to check. A blank field is better than a wrong one.

Name of reference

Left for you

It never presses Submit

Passwords, payment details, ID numbers and questions about gender or caste stay yours to answer. The final click is always you.

Submit

The extension stops here.

It learns your answers, and undoes

Type a new answer by hand and it offers to save it for next time. Filled something you did not want? One click puts the form back.

Current city

Hyderabad
Undo

One detail, written each form's way.

  • Annual CTC

    ₹8,50,000

  • Expected CTC in LPA

    8.5

  • Monthly salary

    70,833

  • Mobile, without +91

    9876543210

It speaks Indian job forms: notice period, CTC in lakhs or rupees, a +91 number with or without the prefix.

Built for the forms you meet.

On any other site, click Fill this page and it tries the same way.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no server to pay for, so there is no bill to pass on to you.

Can I install it today?

Not yet. Poorthi is being built now and will arrive on the Chrome Web Store.

How is this better than Chrome autofill?

Chrome handles names and addresses. Poorthi also handles notice period, CTC, experience ranges, your resume and the custom answers you save.

Is my data completely safe?

It never leaves your device, but it is not encrypted by default. Anyone with access to your computer profile could read it, so keep that profile to yourself.

Does it work without internet?

Filling needs no internet of its own, and saving your details works offline. The job site itself still has to load.

What if it fills something wrong?

Every filled field is highlighted, a review list shows what happened, and Undo restores the form as it was.
